Genesis House is a state certified and licensed residential drug treatment program for adults 18 years of age and older. It consists of two programs based on the needs of its clients.

The co-ed program offers 28 beds and lasts approximately 4 to 6 months. The peri-natal program offers 8 beds, with additional capacity for 6 children to stay with their mothers while in treatment, and lasts approximately 6 to 10 months.

Genesis House residents of both programs are eligible to receive the following services:

• Comprehensive assessment
• Initial and ongoing medical services
• Medically supervised detoxification
• Individualized treatment planning
• Individual and group counseling
• HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and TB education, testing and counseling
• Relapse prevention
• Interactive parenting education
• Child care/transportation
• Links to education, training, employment, housing and other community resources
• 12-Step meetings on- and off-site
• Case management
• Aftercare

Services are provided on a sliding fee scale, with a minimum charge of $5 per day (payment may be deffered until completion of the program). Services will not be denied if the client is unable to pay. Medi-Cal and private insurance are not accepted.
