About...

Superkids and SuperTeens are school-based counseling programs providing at-risk and emotionally troubled youth with services, including:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Consultation with parents
  • Consultation with teachers and school staff
  • Training and parent education workshops (as needed)
  • Case management
  • Information and referral

Services are provided free of charge through school contracts and private grants.

SuperKids
Children enrolled in SuperKids are typically seen in a group setting for 15 weeks, then re-evaluated. They learn new skills, such as how to identify feelings and how to deal with them through drawing and writing.

SuperTeens
The SuperTeens program aims to identify and address troubling issues and teach coping skills, among others, primarily through individual counseling.
